In short
thecleova.com is an information website presenting Cleova products. There are no accounts or orders; the only form is the optional e-mail newsletter. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies; we measure visits only if you allow it, without cookies and anonymously. We do not sell your data. Details on how personal data is processed are in our Personal Data Notice.
Information we collect
- When you visit, our hosting infrastructure automatically keeps technical logs such as IP address, browser type, date and time and pages viewed, to keep the site secure and working.
- When you choose a language, your preference is stored in a cookie in your browser.
- If you write to us via Instagram or e-mail, we use the information you share only to reply to you.
- If you subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your e-mail address and consent record only to send you the newsletter. The consent box is never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Visit statistics
To improve the site, and only if you allow it in your cookie preferences, we measure which pages are visited with Vercel Web Analytics. This measurement uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not identify you; visits only appear as aggregate numbers (page, referring site, country, device and browser type).
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. We only use first-party cookies that are necessary for the site to work:
- cleova-lang — Necessary / functional. Remembers your chosen site language. Created only when you choose a language; kept for 1 year.
- cleova-consent — Necessary. Remembers your cookie and measurement choice so the choice card does not reappear on every visit. Created when you make a choice; kept for 6 months.
- __prerender_bypass, __next_preview_data — Necessary. Created only when authorised content editors preview drafts; never set for visitors, deleted at the end of the session.
Necessary cookies do not require consent. Visit statistics only run if you allow them; you can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. If marketing cookies are ever introduced, they will only be activated with your explicit consent and this policy will be updated.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie, the site will open in English on each visit; you can still use the site.

Third-party services
Images and content are delivered through our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Sanity), which technically process your IP address to deliver them. Newsletter sign-ups are stored with restricted access in our content infrastructure (Sanity). Instagram links take you to Instagram, where Meta’s own privacy and cookie policies apply. Fonts are served from our own server; no requests are sent to external services such as Google Fonts.
Security
The site is only served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and protected by security headers. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access to your data.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
